A person of mass 50 Kg carrying a load 20 Kg on his head moves up the stairs. If the height of each step is 0.25 m and the total number of steps is 20. The amount of work done by him?

m = 50 kg

h = number of steps * h of each step

  = 0.25 * 20 = 5 m

g (acceleration due to gravity) = 10 m s^-2

W = mgh = 50 * 10 * 5 = 2500 J
