work done W=F.S=FScos(angle between force and displacement)
here force acting is weight that is mg
and displacement is height h
so w=mghcos(180)=-mgh=-50*9.8*72=35280joules
i hope it helps u

Answer:

Explanation:

Given :-

Mass of the person, m = 50 kg

Height of the person, h = 72 m

To Calculate:-

Work Done.

Formula to be used :-

Work done = mgh

Solution :-

While climbing the tower, work done is against the gravity.

Thus, work done equals to the potential energy.

Work done = mgh

Work done = (50 × 9.8 × 72) J

Work done = 35280 J.

Hence, the work done is 35280 J.
