Answer:

Explanation

Force =mass×acceleration

It is given that,

a=0.45 and m=85 kg

So force exerted by person on floor of lift=0.45×85

=35.75N

Answer:

Explanation:

Solution,

Here, we know that,

Mass of the person, m = 85 kg = 0.085 g

Acceleration of person, a = 0.45 m/s²

To Find,

Force, F = ?

According to Newton's second law of motion,

We know that,

F = ma

So, putting the values, we get

⇒ F = ma

⇒ F = 0.085 × 0.45

F = 0.03825 N

Hence, the force the person exerts on the floor of the lift is 0.03825 N.
