in 400 ml of alcoholic solution, percent of alcohol is 15%

so, volume of alcohol= 15% of 400 ml

                                 =60 ml

now, 15% is 60 ml, so 1% = 60/15= 4 ml

so , 32 % = 32×4 = 128 ml

volume added= 128 - 60 = 68 ml

vaibhavi164: amount of alcohol = 15/100*400= 60ml
let alcohol to be added be x
required conc = 32%
32=60+x/400+x * 100
32/100=60+x/400+x
32(400+x)=100(60+x)
12800+32x=6000+100x
68x=6800
x= 100ml
So 100ml of alcohol should be added.
