As we know, work = F.S cos x

Here, x is angle b/w person hand and rope = 90°

Thus, work = F.S cos 90°
= F.S × 0 = 0 joule

Hi , friend !!!

Depth of well = h

mass = M

work done => FS cos∅

∅ = 90 °

hence , zero work done

hope it help you !
thanks !!
