A person purchased an old bicycle for ₹450 and speands ₹50 on its maintenance. If he sold the old bicycle for ₹600 then his profit percentage is?

Cp of bicycle = ₹450

over head expensive = ₹50

sp of bicycle = ₹600

sp>cp = profit

profit= sp-cp
=600-500 =100

profit% = profit/cp*100

=100/500*100
=20% answer

CP = ₹ 450 + ₹50
= ₹ 500
SP = ₹ 600
Profit = SP-CP
= ₹ 600- ₹ 500
= ₹ 100
Profit % =

Profit

CP

= 100

Hence, Profit% = 20 %
