A person purchases the medicines worth RS 200 with sales tax of 6%.find amount for each item ?

sale price of medicines=200

(+)6% sales tax =200×6%=12

total amount=212

Cost price of medicines = 200
sales tax = 6%

so 6% of cost price = 200*6/100= 12 RS

now final price including sales tax is = cost price + sales tax

==> 200+12 = 212 RS (answer)
