DISTANCE=SPEED X TIME
           SPEED=8 X 15/8=15m/SEC
time=5 x 60=300 sec
distance= 15 x 300=4500m

Anonymous: wrong ...its 5/18 not 15/8
shubham241: yes,u are right 666 meter is correct answer
shubham241: 8000/60=133.333. =133.33*5=666.66

!!!!!!!

we know that , D = S × t ----------(1)

so, using above equation ,

Given , S = 8km/h

converting the time in hour,

=). t = 5 min = 5/60 hr = 1/12 hr

therefore, Distance (D) = 8 × 1/12 = 2/3 km

and in metres = 2000/3 = 666.67 m (approx).

hope it will help u
