Let his usual speed be x
Today speed is = 7x/11

Total distance be Y for all cases.

The time used the person for today is 22hrs given.

Time = distance/ speed
= 22 = y/7x/11
22=11y/7x
Y= 154X/11= 14X
Y= 14X. ....... Eq.1

Now for normal speed X the distance is remain same Y

Time = Y/X.

14X/X From eq.1
=14
