Solution
Let speed is ‘x’
‘x’ is increased by 20%20%
New speed =x+20%=x+20% of x
=x+20x100=6x5=x+20x100=6x5
The new speed is 6x56x5 of the usual speed
New time taken =5x6=5x6 of the usual time
So,
(usual time−5x6 of the usual time)=5mints(usual time−5x6 of the usual time)=5mints
x6x6 of usual time =5=5
∴∴ usual time =30=30 mints
