We have to find how much he saved for 5 months.
We know,
12 months = 1 year
>> 1 month = 1/12 year
Thus,
5 months = 1/12 × 5 year
I.e. 5 / 12 year
Now,
A person saves in 5 months = Rs. ( 19200 × 5/12 )
= Rs . ( 1600 × 5 )
= Rs. 8000
