S.P OF 1 ORANGE= 1/36 RS.

C.P OF 1 ORANGE= (1/36) * (100/96) RS.

TO GET A GAIN OF 8% S.P OF ONE ORANGE SHOULD BE= (1/36) * (100/96) * (108/100) = 1/32 RS.

THEREFORE, TO GET A GAIN OF 8%, 32 ORANGES NEED TO BE SOLD PER RUPEE

A man sells 36 orenges per rupee and suffers a loss of 4% so actual price of the orenges wer e-therefore
x - (x  \times 4 \div 100) = 1 \div 36
x - x \div 25 = 1 \div 36
24x \div 25 = 1 \div 36
864x = 25
x = 25 \div 864
the price of each piece of oranges were 25/864
