Given :  A person sells 90 shares of a company  at a market price of Rs. 512 paying a  brokerage of 1%

his investment was  Rs. 45,000

To Find  : Net Return

A) 1,540.8

B)  1,080

C) 619.2

D) 45,619.2

Solution:

90 shares sold at price of Rs 512

=> 90 * 512  =  Rs 46080

1% brokerage = (1/100) 46080 = Rs 460.8

Net = 46080 - 460.8 = Rs 45,619.2

Investment = Rs 45000

Return = 45,619.2 -  45000 = Rs 619.2

his net return  = Rs 619.2
