a person sitting in an artificial statellite of the earth feels weightlessness but a person standing on moon has weight though the moon is satellite of the earth. why

A person sitting in satellite feels weightless because the radius and mass of the satellite is such that the gravitation forces due to satellite negligible. But he feels weight on moon because standing on the surface he falls gravitational force due to the large size and mass of moon
