A person spends first half of the salary on rent and half of the remaining on food. The remaining r.s 5000 was deposited in Bank. How much does the person earn?

 \frac{1}{2}  +  \frac{1}{4}  =  \frac{3}{4}
remaining=1/4=5000
total income=5000Γ—4=20000

his sallery will be assumed as 100% thus spent on rent 50% thus remaining is 50% now half of rem i,e 25% is spent on food thus now 25% remains which is equal to 5000 thus

25%=5000 thus 100%=20000

thus sallery =20000
