A person spent ₹564 in buting pens and pencils if cost of each pen is ₹7and each pencil is ₹3 and if the total number of things bought was 108 how many of each type did he buy​

4x + 0  = 240

x = 240 / 4

x = 60

Using x = 60 in (ii)

60 + y = 108

y = 108 - 60

y = 48

∴ The person bought 60 pens and 48 pencils.
