Answer :

A person starts driving at 9.00 AM

Distance covered = 175km

Speed = 70km/hr

We have to find time taken by person to reach the destination\star

\star Speed is defined as the ratio of distance travelled to the time taken.

It is a scalar quantity having only magnitude.

It can't be negative or zero.

SI unit : m/s

  • Speed = Distance / Time

By substituting the values, we get

⭆ v = d/t

⭆ 70 = 175/t

⭆ t = 175/70

t = 2.5 hr

∴ Person will take 2.5hr to reach at the destination.

ATQ, person starts his journey at 9 AM.

He will reach at the destination at 11:30 AM.
