The focal length would be
1 metre. The power would also be 1D.

Answer:
a person suffering from myopia has high power, therefore low focal length as Power is inversely proportional to focal length. P= 1/focal length. The defect is the light rays entering the eye lens do not meet at retina, they meets before retina. So as to correct this vision one should use concave lens which will decrease some power of lens so as to increase some focal length which will allow the light rays to meet at retina itself.
