actually the respiration and respiratory organs are controlled by our brain....the main part which takes part mainly in this process is medulla oblongata region of brain......if the brain gets injured ...then the coordination between different parts of brain along with medulla oblongata gets disturbed.......a person suffering from brain injury will also suffer from several problems within different body systems........so respiratory system gets disturbed when medulla oblongata region is injured.....so that person will suffer from respiratory or breathing problems........
