So! I hope you know salt is hypertonic in nature and hence has water retention property. When one takes in salt h2o, osmosis takes place & hence h2o moves to the intestine and hence exerts pressure on the intestinal walls (also causes nausea). Intestinal walls unable to tolerate this strain, causes vomiting.

Just to add up! An extra Info. _ Salt h20 used for gargling! Do you know why! Beause salt is hypertonic in nature and the liquid (edema fluid) on the throat region is hypotonic. Hence the salt h20 draws out the edema fluid hence curing sore throat.

Hope the above is helpful!!

After consuming concentrated salt solution:- The concentrated salt water when comes in contact with stomach:--Because of hypertonic solution, the osmotic pressure exerts and there will be excess water in stomach which will come out from the body by vomiting.Osmosis is the phenomenon behind this reason. Hope it helps.
