Correct Question :

A person takes a loan of Rs. 200 at 5% simple interest. He returns Rs.100 at the end of one year. In order clear his dues at the end of 2 years, he would pay :

A) Rs. 100 B) Rs. 105 C) Rs. 115 D) Rs. 110

Answer :

The correct Option is c) Rs.115.

Explanation :

Amount to pay after frist year

 = > \frac{20 \times 5 \times 1}{100} + 200 = 210

Amount which is left as a principal for the second year.

 = > 210 - 100 = 110

Therefore, Amount paid in the second year

 = > \frac{100 \times 5 \times 1}{100} = 11.55

Hence, option C is the correct.
