Question :-

_______________________________

A person takes out a coin from his pocket and drop it from a height of 1.6 metre. With what speed does it strike the ground.

_______________________________

✰Given:-

⋄ Initial velocity (u) =0m/s

⋄ Distance (s) = 1.6m

⋄ Acceleration due to gravity (g) =9.8m/s²

_______________________________

✰To find :-

⋄ Final velocity of coin.

_______________________________

✰Solution :-

By using this formula

➧ v² =u² + 2gs

➧ v² = 0² + 2(9.8 m/s²) × (1.6m)

➧v²= 31.36m²/s²

➧ v= √31.36= 5.6m/s

The final velocity of coin is 5.6m/s.
