By Pythagoras theorem <

Perpendicular² +  Base² = Hypotenuse²

4² + 3² = Hypotenuse²

25 = Hypotenuse²

Hypotenuse = √25

Hypotenuse = ± 5

ii ) Therefore , the displacement of the person would be 5 meters.
