Answer:

\huge\underline\bold {Answer:}

Let the total distance travelled by him be x km.

Then, 5x/8 + x/4 + 15 = x

=> x – 5x/8 – x/4 = 15

=>

 \frac{8x - 5x - 2x}{8}  = 15

=> x/8 = 15

=> x = 120 km

Therefore, total distance travelled by him = 120 km.

➣ AnSwer :-

Let the total distance travelled by him be x km.

Then,

 \longrightarrow \bf \frac{5x}{8}  +  \frac{x}{4}  + 15 = x \\

 \longrightarrow \bf \:x -  \frac{5x}{8}  -  \frac{x}{4}  = 15 \\

 \longrightarrow \bf \: \frac{8x - 5x - 2x}{8}  = 15 \\

 \longrightarrow \bf \frac{x}{8}  = 15 \\

 \longrightarrow \bf x = 120km

Hence, the total distance travelled by him be 120 km
