→ 15° N latitude = 15° away from equator(0°) in north .

→ 25° S latitude = 25° away from equator in south.

so,

→ Total distance in degree of latitudes between 15°N and and 25°S = 15 + 25 = 40°

now, we know that,

  • The distance of each degree of latitude is approximately 111 km .

then,

→ Required distance travelled by the person = Total degree latitudes * 111 = 40 * 111 = 4440 km .

therefore, the distance he traveled is approximately equal to 4440 km .
