Displacement is the total distance covered by an object

A person travelled 2 kms and then comes back to the same position by covering 2 kms

Total distance= 2+2 =4 kms

As the initial and the final point of the person is the same the displacement is zero

Remember that displacement is the shortest distance covered between the initial and final position as the initial and final position of the person are same then the displacement is zero

I hope it helps ( ╹▽╹ )
