Answer: your answer is -

distance = 23 km

displacement = 5 km

Explanation:

distance is 23 km because DISTANCE is the total path length covered by the object . So , 18 km + 5 km = 23 km

And displacement is 5 km because DISPLACEMENT is the shortest distance measured from intial to final position where, intial position is 18 km and final position is 5km of the object.

Answer:

distance=18+18+5=41km

displacement=5km

Explanation:

distance

a person travels and return back so 18+18 and again travels 5km so 18+18+5=41km

displacement

a person travels 18km and return back so 0 is displacement and travels again 5km so 0+5=5km
