case1 distance = x/3 km , speed = 60km/h

time = distance / speed

= x/180 h

case2: distance = 2x/3 speed = 30 km/h

time = distance/ speed

= x/45 h

total time = x/180 + x/45 h

= x/36 h

average speed = total distance / total time

x/ (x/36) km/h

= 36 km/h
