A person travels equal distances with speeds of 1 km/hr, 2 km/hr and 4 km/hr and takes a total time 3 hours and 30 minutes. What is the total distance the person covers?

Dist: = . xkm

x/1+x/2+x/3 = 3.5

multiply by 6

6x+3x+2x=21

11x=21

x = 21/11=1 10/11 Km. Ans
