Answer: Option A

Solution(By Examveda Team)

Required average speed,

=(3×40×30×15)(40×30)+(40×15)+(30×15)

=24km/hr

Alternatively

Time taken to traveled 13

distance of journey with speed 40 kmph,

=1340=1120

Time taken to traveled 13

distance of journey with speed 30 kmph,

=1330=190

Time taken to traveled 13

distance of journey with speed 15 kmph,

=1315=145Total time taken=1120+190+145=451080Average speed=Total distance traveledTotal time taken=1451080=24kmph
