A person travels from a to b at a speed of 40 km/hr and returns by increasing his speed by 50%. What is his average speed for both the trips?

Speed of First travel From a to b = 40 km /hr
Increment of speed by 50 % =40 +50%of 40
=40+20
I.e 60
Average speed = 40+60/2
I.E 50km/hr
