The defect of this person’s eye is called Hypermetropia.

It is also commonly known as Long-sightedness. In this condition, nearby objects appear hazy or blurred but far-away objects appear clear and sharp. Reading, writing and desk-work becomes troublesome, causing headache or strain.

Hypermetropia can be remedied by using prescription eye-glasses or contact lenses or surgery.
