Answer:

Half a circle circumference is πr=7 [m] the radius of the circular track;

r = 7/π = 2.228 [m]

r=222.8 [cm]

The average speed is distance/time

s= d/t = 7[m]/(1*60[s])

s=0.1166666 [m/s] or 11.6666 [cm/s]

The amplitude of velocity is the same as the average speed, but the velocity is a vector, which will have a direction as well as a magnitude. The magnitude of the velocity in this case is 0.1166666[m/s] and the direction will change in accordance of the change of direction of the circular track the man is walking along with a radius of 2.228 [m] or 222.8 [cm]

circumference of a circular path=2×22/7×7 m=44 m

average velocity=44/11m/s=4m/s
