He walks 4km towards east, then

3km towards north

We will use Pythagoras theorem too find the distance between two points

Hence, 5 km is distance between points.

Step-by-step explanation:

P^2+b^2=h^2

4^2+3^2=h^2

16+9=h

h^2=25

h=5km
