A person wanted to sell a scooter at the loss of 25%. but at the last moment he changed his mind and Sold the scooter at a loss of 20%. if the difference in the two SP is ₹4000 then find the CP of the scooter​

let the cost price is Rs x

then 1st S.P.= Rs (x-x.25/100)=Rs75x/100=Rs 3x/4

2nd S.P.= Rs (x-x.20/100) =Rs 80x/100=Rs 4x/5

so,

4x/5-3x/4=4000

=> (16x-15x)/20=4000

=> x/20=4000

=> x=80,000

C.P. of the scooter= Rs 80,000
