Answer:
let the cost price is Rs x
then 1st S.P.= Rs (x-x.25/100)=Rs75x/100=Rs 3x/4
2nd S.P.= Rs (x-x.20/100) =Rs 80x/100=Rs 4x/5
so,
4x/5-3x/4=4000
=> (16x-15x)/20=4000
=> x/20=4000
=> x=80,000
C.P. of the scooter= Rs 80,000
