Area of the rectangle:- Lenght × Breadth

Lenght- 6m

Breadth- 4m

$= 6 \times 4 \\ = 24sq \: m$

Area of a square- Side × Side

Side- 0.7m

(area of 1 tile)

$0.7 \times 0.7 \\ = 0.49sq \: m$

number of tiles is given by the formula,

number= area of room/area of one tile

$24 \div 0.49 \\ = 49 \: tiles$
