Answer: 312,5 sec (5,21min approx)

Step-by-step explanation:

He will climb 5m in 5*5 sec = 25 sec

Then he slips 1 m so in 25 sec he climbs 4 m.

It's a cross-multiplication: a/b = c/d ; ad = bc or a= (bc)/d

If 4m = 25 sec ; 1m = x sec

4x = 25; 1m = 25/4

50m = (25×50) ÷ 4 = 1250/4 = 312,5 sec (5,21min approx)
