Answer:

a person weighs 110.84N on moon, whose acceleration due to gravity is 1/6 of that earth. if the value of 'g' on earth is 9.8m/s*s calculate 'g' on moon, mass of the person on moon and weight of person on earth. Thank your teacher & they could win INR75K. Voting ends 2/10

Answer:

a) 1.63333....m/s2

b) 68 Kg

c) 666.4 N

Explanation:

a) Weight of an object on moon will be 1/6 of that on earth.

so,

g on moon= 1/6 x g on earth (9.8)

=1.633m/s2

b)Mass on moon

  w=mg

  110.84=1.63m

  m= 110.84/1.63

  m=68Kg

c)Weight on earth

  w=mg

  w=68 x 9.8

  w=666.4 N
