Given,

Mass, m = 60 kg

Since, let gravity, g = 10 m²

Therefore, weight = mg

=60×10

=600 N

Since, Area =180 cm²

in m², 180×10^-4 m²

We know, pressure = force/ area

=600/180×10^-4

=3.3×10^-4 Pascal.

hence pressure exerted is 3.3×10^-4 pa

SOLUTION :-

$\green{ \sf Pressure = \frac{force}{area} }$

We know that weight is a force applied by any person.

$\sf \: weight \: = \:( mass) \times( acceleration \: due \: to \: gravity)$

$\sf \: weight \: = \: m \times g$

Let acceleration due to gravity (g)= 10 N/m²

$\sf \: weight = force = 60 \times 10 \: \: \: \: \: \: \: newton \\ \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: = 600 \sf \: newton$

Now Appling formula of pressure.

$\sf Pressure = \frac{weight(force)}{area}$

$\sf Pressure = \frac{600}{180 \times 10^{ - 2} }$

$\sf Pressure = \frac{1000}{3}$

$\sf Pressure = 333.334 \: Newton \: per \: m {}^{2}$

Pressure exerted on the ground = 333.334 N/m²
