A person weight 63 kg . The area under one foot of the person is 180 cm Find pressure exerted on the ground by the person ,when he is standing.

Pressure = Thrust (Force)/Area


Here, m is 63 kg.

Wt will be 63 * 10 = 630 N

Area = 2 * 180

= 360 cm^2

= 3.6 * 10^-2 m^2


Thus, Pressure = 630/(3.6 * 10^-2)

= 17.5 * 10^3 Pascal......
