A person went to the market with rs 100.He used 40+30+18+12 rs and total 100 rs.when he used 40 then he left rs 60.when he used rs 30 then he had left 30 rs and when he used rs 18 then he left rs12 and at last he used the 12 rs and he left nothing.so 60+30+12+00 is total 102 rs.why 2 rs are extra?​

The problem here is double counting.

The question is how did the 102 rs. come from.

you adding the money which was spent at some other time
