Iron is an important component of haemoglobin in blood. Oxygen bind to the iron containing haemoglobin present inside the RBC's and the Red Blood Cells carry oxygen to all body parts. If there is deficiency of iron in the body, the oxygen transport will get hampered and all the cells of the body (like brain cells, muscle cells etc.) willnot get oxygen. Hence, a person would feel tired all the time.
