yes , Mrs.packeltide was a vain as she wanted to be popular, jUST to make loona bimberton jealous . she gave herself and her greed of being famous so much importance that she ended up spending a lot of money not only for the tiger expedition but also to forbade Louisa mebbin from disclosing the truth she knew
