Total amount spent in percentage = 200/3 %
Then, percentage of saving = 100 % - 200/3 %
Percentage of saving = 100/3 %
If 100/3 % is saved then amount is = 1200 Rs.
If 1 % is saved then the amount is = (1200×3)/100
If 100 % is saved then the amount will be = (1200×3×100)/100
⇒ Total income = Rs. 3600
⇒ Total income - total saving = total expenditure
⇒ 3600 - 1200 = 2400
⇒ Total expenditure =Rs 2400
