Here is your answer,
Concave lens or it can be diverging lens it is used to correct the vision of a myopic person.
So already they have mentioned in the question that distance beyond it's object is 1.2m
Now for viewing the distant object so concave length of focal -1.2m should be used.
Now, f=-x = -1.2 m
Now, Power of lens = 1/f = 1/(-1.2)m
= -0.83m
