A person with blood group ab consider universal recipient because he has

Answer:
Two antigens A and B
Explanation:
heyyyy mate..........
The ABO blood group system in humans is determined by the presence of specific antigens on the red blood corpuscles.
The presence of alleles iA or iB determines whether antigens A or B are attached to the RBCs or there are no antigens when allele i is present.
Thus blood group A means that there are only A antigens or the alleles of which may be iAiA or iAi . Similarly for blood group B the pair of alleles mat be iBiB or iBi .
In the same way blood group AB means that both antigens A and B are present in the blood.
Now, these antigens are significant because one antigen will not be compatible with another if inserted externally. That means blog group A will not be compatible with an infusion of blood group B since B blood has B antigens that will not be accepted by A antigens in A blood group. While blood group O has no antigens, it can be infused into any other blood but not accept vice versa.
On the other hand since blood group AB has both antigens A and B, it can accept any blood containing any antigens A, B, both A and B, or no antigens as in case of O group. Thus it is a universal accepter while O group is universal donor.
One important thing however to note is that the Rh negative or Rh positive blood can never be mixed.
hope it helps.........
