u = -infinity
f = ?
according to lens formula ,
1/f = 1/v - 1/u
1/f = -1/300 - (-1/infinity)
1/f = -1/300 + 1/infinity
focal length = -300 cm or -3metre
now,
power = 1/focal length(metre)
power = -1/3
power = -0.33 dioptre
nature = myopia ( short sightedness)
