Answer:
1.

(b) The sea represents the constant part of nature. With time, a lot of things has changed but the sea had not changed. It remains as it was when the poet's mother had visited it.
(c) The stanza is about the photograph in which the poet's mother is there. It was the photograph before the poet was born. The poet's mother had visited a beach where they have clicked the photograph.
(d) The poet refers to the sea because in the photograph the poet's mother was standing near the sea. Her mother was no more in the world but the sea still existed there.
2.
(a) The poet's mother laughed when she would see the snapshot.
(b) Whenever the mother would see the photograph she would remember those days and would go in her memories.
(c) The poet felt the loss of her mother. She missed her mother's laughter which she would give after seeing the photograph.
(d) The past is important to the poet as it reflects that time remains for one. The happiness which she would enjoy seeing her mother would never be achieved by her as she has lost her mother. Now she can remember her mother only in the memories.
