Explanation :

The photon had energy equivalent to 12.75 ev that means the electron of the hydrogen atom absorbs that much energy so it’s quite self-explanatory that it will reach that orbit in which the electron’s potential energy will be equal to (Ground state potential energy + Provided energy).

i.e. -13.6 + 12.75 = 0.85 ev

Which is the potential enrgy of an electron in the 3rd excited state i.e. the fourth quantum number..
