Given :    A physical quantity P is given by

P =A^3B^1C^{-4}D^{\frac{3}{2}}

All the quantities have equal percentage of error

To Find :  quantity which brings the maximum percentage error

Solution:

P =A^3B^1C^{-4}D^{\frac{3}{2}}

P =  \dfrac{A^3B^1D^{\frac{3}{2}}}{C^{4}}

Any Quantity   Aⁿ     gives  percentage error =  | n | % error of A

A³   % error  = 3  *  % error of A

B¹   % error  = 1 *  % error of B

C⁻⁴  % error  =  4 *   % error of C

D^\frac{3}{2} % error  =  (3/2) *   % error of D

As % error of A , B , C and D is same

Hence 4 *   % error of C  will be maximum

so  C  brings the maximum percentage error
